Running Containers on Microsoft Azure
Containers are one of the most talked about developments in software delivery. Both containers built using Linux and Windows images can be run on Microsoft Azure in a number of different ways.
We will discuss:
Windows containers and how they differ from Linux containers
Using Docker Swarm, DCOS or Kubenetes with the Azure Container Service
Using DevOps practices to automate container deployment
Demonstrations will include:
Creating and running Windows Server container images using Docker and PowerShell
Creating and deploying to the Azure Container Service
Running containers inside Azure Web Apps on Linux
